Atla (english Edition)

Beschreibung Atla Malson works as a private tutor while holding on to her dream of becoming a successful writer. But with every rejection, that dream seems to slip further away.
When she discovers that three young girls are living in fear of their teacher, Ms. Sek, she becomes fascinated by their story. Humiliation, unfair grades, psychological pressure, and the indifference of the adults around them have pushed Evi, Sun, and Charlotte to their limits.
Helplessness turns into anger, and the same disturbing thought takes root in more than one mind: Ms. Sek must disappear. Unaware of one another's intentions, they each take matters into their own hands—until their paths cross in unexpected ways.
Meanwhile, Atla struggles with an inner voice that seems to know her better than she knows herself. For her, the girls' suffering may be the inspiration she has been searching for. But the deeper she becomes involved, the more the line between writer and protagonist begins to blur.
How far will Atla go to write the story of her life?
Atla is a psychological thriller about abuse of power, bullying, academic pressure, friendship, and the devastating consequences of indifference.
Sometimes it all begins because no one listens.
